Steve is a professional working accordionist and vocalist, currently living in Jersey - Channel Islands - UK. The major part of his work is entertaining holidaymakers in the top hotels on the island, with his three hour one man show. In the summer, his show is on seven nights per week.

He is billed as an International Accordionist Vocalist with good reason, as he covers music from around the world, with selected vocals in eight languages. He entertains using the accordion as accompaniment, but also trying to get the best live backing for his shows. Mr. Roxton has performed in numerous countries world-wide, including Australia, Sweden, Bermuda, America, France, Spain, Portugal, Austria; and of course throughout the United Kingdom.

Quite apart from entertaining the general public, he appears at Accordion Festivals, and as guest artiste at accordion clubs and societies, with a programme of accordion solos.

To generate more interest in the accordion in the Channel Isles, and quite apart from his professional work, Gary Roxton founded "The Jersey Accordion Band" and "Les Amis de l'Accordeon de Jersey", a social club to promote accordion music and better playing.
