Dear friends,

We have just finished an excellent weekend of accordion jazz in the beautiful setting of Knuston Hall www.knustonhall.org.uk and have fixed the dates for next year as Friday 3rd June to Sunday 5th June 2011.  We would love to see you there, and I am writing to tell you that early bookings for this course are essential if you wish to have accommodation at Knuston Hall.

They have a limited amount of excellent ensuite accommodation and, as we run parallel to other courses, there is a very high demand for this accommodation. This year some students were unable to get on the course as they left their bookings far too late and although B & B accommodation is available in the area, it is much nicer (and more relaxing) if you can remain on the premises for the whole weekend.

Many people book for the following year as they leave and some of the accordion jazz weekend students have already done this. I shall be sending an account of this year`s course to the accordion magazines shortly so you will be able to see what we have been doing; but I will mention one new element which was a composition session, as this proved very popular with this year`s students.

I really hope you will be able to join us in 2011 so, if you think you would like to come, please get your booking in early and a deposit paid so that you are guaranteed a place on the course with accommodation at Knuston Hall itself.
