Good to know
Musette as we know it today has emerged in between 1910 and 1915 when first ensembles playing musette music came to popularity. Then a piece «Aubade d'Oiseaux» by Michele Peguri was composed and had a vast success. Playing on public clubs, ball halls accordion musette sprang everywhere in France in those days.
E. Vasher another father in law of musette had his own music salon in Paris since 1908 and had been a great name in whole of city. Many people name E. Vasher (he never have been taking music scholarship) as a founder of French musette.
